Program of this year’s Retail Summit „Innovate or Die“ is a promise of the truly inspirational event. Great interest in participation only proves it: 14 days before the conference there are almost 700 people registered

In the time when a huge number of promotions and communication is rolling in to the customers, it is more and more difficult to reach them and interest them. Today’s shopper has much easier and faster access to information than before, he is able not only to compare the price, but also check the reality of marketing promises, and even more he is spoiled by almost permanent offer of high quality brand goods in sales promotions. Share of promotional sales keeps on growing significantly and in some categories it even exceeds 80%.
Despite of that there are companies that are able to offer their customers something more than just good prices – services they can find nowhere else. About one of them – company as a lab of everyday innovations – and about continuous search for the better offer of customer services will speak the main presentation of Retail Summit, given by Thomas Bruch, representative of the 5th generation in family company management of Globus.
Opinion on successful innovations from the view of producers will be introduced by Miroslav Hošek, who worked at top management positions in many international grocery companies in ČR and since 5 years he has been managing a global company Advanced Food Products based in USA. He will focus on creative innovative process, based on enlightenedand inspirational company leadership and will introduce 8 successful innovative models, trends of recent time.
No matter if the interest of participants binds to these mentioned case studies or other parts of the rich two days program, it is clear the focus on the topic of innovations is most demandedright now. Fourteen days before the summit there are registered almost 700 delegates.
The registration still continues, the first day of the program including the gala dinner has no capacity limits. Organizers are just unable to guarantee all people interested in the specialized expert sessions of the second day will find a seat in some rooms.

Basic information on Retail Summit 2011
Retail Summit will be held on 1st and 2nd February 2011 In TOP Hotel Prague. It is organizedby the Czech Confederation of Commerce and Tourism, University of Economics in Prague and Blue Events company, follows 16 previous successful years of the traditional conference on retail development. The last year 2010 was attended by record number of more than 850 delegates, this number may be beaten this year.
The Summit is being held with support of few tens of companies and institutions. Special thanks of organizers belong to Platinum partners – company Poštovní spořitelna (part of ČSOB), Plzeňský Prazdroj and Telefónica O2.
