Conference Shopper Marketing 2010 attract „enormous“ interest of participants

 

For the first time in history of conferences Retail in Detail organized by Blue Events the organizers have underestimated the attractivity of the topic and speakers. Four weeks prior to the conference the rich program, where the most interest is given to the presentation of Orit Peleg from Ogilvy Action in New York, has attracted almost 200 participants! For this reason the event has been moved from the traditional venue to the congress hall of hotel Olympik Artemis in Prague, which has a higher capacity. The date 29th September is kept and the registration, which was temporatily suspended, is now renewed.

 

Now it is sure the attendance at Shopper Marketing 2010 will tide over all the previous years of this special event. The rich program is a promise to inspire retailers and suppliers to master this fastest growing marketing discipline and create shopper marketing strategies for the sake of better exploitation of the shoppers´ potential.

 

The keynote speaker of the conference will be Orit Peleg, expert on innovative shopper marketing from New York.

 

Orit works as a Planning Director and member of global Shopper Marketing Ogilvy Action team. She has got a rich experience in applying marketing strategies targeted on shoppers gained during many years of work in position of Shopper Marketing expert in the Coca-Cola company. In this position Orit pushed through radical changes in shopper and retail insight integration into brand marketing plans. Except work for Coca-Cola during last years she was developing creative and innovative shopper marketing in partnership with companies Kraft, Unilever or BP.

 

Orit’s primary focus is to provide businesses with unique strategic solutions integrating shopper needs, trade expectations and brand objectives, leading to the creation of powerfully creative campaigns that tap into the path to purchase. Her approach is to tackle a business challenge from the eyes of the shopper identify the right touchpoint, right medium and right message that will lead a shopper from attitude to action  - always adding the ‘Third Dimention’ – the emotional benefit, beyond the promise of great products and prices.

 

Linked up to her speech examples of successful shopper marketing projects on the Czech and Slovak market will be presented, from the view of retailers (COOP Jednota Slovakia, retail chain Blažek or Puntanela) or suppliers (Plzeňský Prazdroj, Henkel ČR, Nestlé). The closing part of the conference will be dedicated to discussion about future of this modern marketing discipline here.
