PR Summit to Look into the Minds of Czech CEOs
PR Summit, the largest PR conference in the Czech Republic, will take place on 19 October in Prague’s Corinthia Hotel. This year’s event titled „The Role of PR through the Eyes of CEOs“ will give conference participants better insight into how CEOs and other decision makers view the role of PR for the growth and sustainability of their organizations. General themes to be discussed include questions such as if CEOs see PR as a tool for just fighting fires, or perhaps for their own personal publicity or if CEOs know the full power and potential of PR.
The program will commence with the conclusions of a study jointly commissioned by APRA and Charles University; the studied reviewed the influence of CEOs on the reputation on an organization.
The main presentations in the morning block will then offer three views and experience with PR by Czech and expat CEOs. The following panel discussion with a number of leading Czech CEOs should offer key insight for conference participants looking to understand the needs of CEOs or how to better position the role of PR when deciding how to invest resources.
The last block of the day is dedicated to the third RIC PIC presentation contest (formerly known as Pecha kucha). Under a new name and new moderator, Jan Kraus, this entertaining contest will give some of the Czech Republic’s leading communicators the chance to convince conference participants “how to best battle Czech corruption by means of PR.”
As was the case with former conferences, the PR Summit will also announce the winner of the PR Manager of the Year award, this year however with a new twist; conference participants will be able to vote for their favorite candidate in real time, from their tables, with the assistance of voting technology.
Organizers of the conference are APRA (Association of PR Agencies) and Blue Events, General Sponsors are AMI Communications and Anopress IT. For more information, please go to www.prsummit.cz
