The star of the program of the conference Shopper Marketing – Hugh Boyle - will explore the future of the digital media and who the Social shopper is.

The fastest growing marketing discipline – Shopper Marketing – is gaining more and more supporters even in our country. After the success of last year conference Retail in Detail/Shopper Marketing with participation of more than 230 delegates this year brings a hot topic – Social Shopper and future of digital media. The conference will take place in Prague hotel Olympik Artemis on 27th September 2011.

 

 

Keynote speaker of the program of our autumn conference Retail in Detail/Shopper Marketing is Hugh Boyle, Global Director, Ogilvy Action, UK. He will explore how the combination of emerging technology and cultural change over the next three years will redefine the digital marketing landscape, what´s going on with changing shopper and who is typical Social Shopper and his needs.

 

Despite what you might think, the pace of the digital revolution has never been set by the existence of new technologies, but more society’s our personal, human and cultural readiness and desire to use them. “We, in fact, have always been ‘the machine.’”, says Hugh Boyle

 

Over the next three years, the pace of the digital revolution is set to increase again for precisely this reason. A new generation of shoppers, currently aged 15 to 18 is ready and willing to use technology to change the way they interact with brands, consume and shop. “They are the first truly digital generation – never having even drawn breath in a non-digital world.”, adds Hugh Boyle, and they will be responsible for the biggest change in the way brands communicate with consumers since the invention of television.

 

In other presentations participants can learn how to do shopper marketing in combined environment of virtual and mortar store or how sales systems influence shoppers behavior. All this will be supplemented with many actual case studies, domestic and abroad.
